Hello ladies, My name is Michelle and I am the creator of Big Girls Pole Dance Too and President of Life I.S.M.A.D.E. Entertainment, Inc. I am a wife, mother, and fulltime student. In addition to BGPD2, I am also the co-owner of Delectable Curves Entertainment, a plus size event planning company in the Central Valley.
I created Big Girls Pole Dance Too as a venue to provide other women an opportunity to embrace their sensuality in a safe and comforting environment with other women like themselves. A few years ago I noticed that pole dancing was becoming a mainstream activity but there weren't any women my size doing it or from my knowledge, benefitting from it. Because I saw a need, I decided to create the company and then realized how beneficial this kind of thing could be for EVERY woman. I cannot begin to tell you how many women have taken my class or have heard about the company and are changed or impacted by it in someway or another.
It is my hope that with the company, women all over will begin to embrace themselves as they are in the present, rather than wait to embrace themselves at a smaller size. EVERY woman is innately sensual and our size should not prevent us from connecting with that sensual, sexy side of ourselves. In addition, it is also my hope that we can begin to take the negative aspect of what people believe pole dancing to be and begin to focus on the positive. My name is Nadine Marcos and I am your Kings County and Tulare consultant. I am a 40 year old wife and mother of four, grandmother of one. For most of my adult life I have been a "big girl." I am confident in who I am, but at times have struggled with the media and magazine's idea that sexy only comes in a size 6.
I believe that women are the center of a family, marriage, or any relationship and too many of my "big girls" are walking around afraid to show how sexy they really are. It's time for us "big girls" to walk with our heads up proud.
I found Big Girls Pole Dance Too on my 40th birthday. It was at a time in my life of big changes and I found myself losing sight of who I was as a woman. Learning to pole dance brought empowerment and a new sense of sensuality into my life. It reminded me of how beautiful and sexy my "big girl" self is.
I look forward to empowering all "big girls" and bringing a new definition to what sexy is all about.

Hi Ladies, my name is Andrea. I'm a fulltime mother of five fabulous children and student. In August of 2009, I took a pole dance workshop with Big Girls Pole Dance Too. I had no idea the transformation that would occur within. I left the workshop with my confidence elevated, I felt super duper sexy, and there was nothing, absolutely nothing anyone could say to me that would make me feel differently.
I chose to become a Big Girls Pole Dance Too instructor because I felt this was an opportunity for me to to help women of size feel sexy, confident, and become comfortable in their own skin.As Big Girls we are not always made to feel sexy...Newsflash! *Big Girls are sexy contrary to what society may say.* Big Is Beautiful and it's time our beauty is recognized. So with that being said, it has become my passion to help women of size find their Big Girl Sexy because sexy we are!

Hey y'all! My name is Brittany Bacon. I'm a 25 year old mother of two handsome little boys. I grew up in an area where it was important to be thin. The summer before high school my family moved to Houston, Texas where I later learned that there was nothing wrong with my curves or the extra meat on my bones. My "junk in da trunk" was no longer a hindrance, but rather something a lot of girls yearned for.
Women are amazing creatures. We come in a plethora of shape, sizes, and colors, but we all are goddesses. I met Michelle at a time in my life where I wanted to figure out a way to reach out and empower women of all walks of life.
